From an early age I found my love of animals and my poor parents had to get used to me bringing stray animals home. Before they knew it, we had a dog , three cats, rabbits , guinea pigs and budgies.
I spent my childhood riding horses and at one point desperately wanted to be a jockey as I was totally fearless, but my parents weren’t keen, so I settled for the veterinary profession and that’s where I’ve been ever since.
My family is filled with four children, two dogs, four cats and a tortoise – they are all my passion in every way.
When I was growing up … I wanted to be a jockey.
