I’ve always lived in the area and absolutely love the countryside – how could you not, living where we do.
From a young age I’ve always been surrounded by animals, be it at home, horse riding or at my uncle’s farm. I knew I always wanted to work with animals and after years of feeling unsettled I finally got the opportunity to do just that when I started working as a receptionist in a local vets.
I then went on to complete my Animal Nursing Assistant qualification and I absolutely love what I do and have never been happier. It just goes to show you’re never too old to follow your dreams.
I’ve a small menagerie of two dogs, Austin and Chorkie Ronan and my beautiful horse, Murphy.
When I was growing up I wanted to be … a vet!
